The project is set to commence commercial operations by late 2026.
Situated 45-70km off the coast of Changhua County at depths of 35m to 60m, the Hai Long project includes Hai Long 2 and Hai Long 3, encompassing 73 turbines with a total capacity exceeding 1GW. The wind farm is scheduled to begin commercial operations by late 2026.
The contract covers inspections of newly installed offshore substations, as well as maintenance and troubleshooting of transition pieces, subsea foundations, and other structural components. Additional tasks, including subsea cable inspections and onshore substation operations, will start soon.

In August, Century Wind Power delivered 21 three-legged jacket foundations for the Hai Long project, strengthening its contribution to renewable energy infrastructure. This partnership highlights IOG Wind’s role in advancing Taiwan’s offshore wind sector and supporting sustainable energy development in the region.
